In the late 1980s, Ferre formulated a political blueprint for his radio station https://radiofrench.fr/. This included a desire to give "full and complete freedom" to its broadcasting patrons in their choice of guests and in their words. Moreover, Ferre wanted to make Radio Courtoisie "open to all tribes of the right", from the Centre-Right to the French National Front.
He also sought to preserve the political right’s right to freedom of expression by eschewing any form of advertising.
